Assim Ishaque

Assim is an experienced Commercial Director, passionate about taking innovative ideas through to revenue growth. With a background in Finance, FMCG and Telco developing expertise in Sustainability, CleanTech, Renewable Energy Technology. Working with businesses from Startup to Scaleup’s, corporates and leading business Accelerators. He is also a specialist speaker on the subject of the entrepreneurial journey – the good, bad and ugly as well as the creative, liberating and fulfilling aspects.

Sue Bedward

Sue is an MSc academically qualified coach and mentor, CIPD accredited trainer and Certified Business Assessor with a passion for professional leadership development and growth.

Following her own experience in Continued Professional Development (CPD) learning and business development, Sue founded the Midlands Business Leadership Academy in 2015 to enable business advisers to achieve accreditation, and to empower business owners to succeed through continuous leadership development, coaching and mentoring support.

Rebecca Mander

Rebecca is a qualified, executive coach and a fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. Motivated by her experience as a managing director, going through personal setback, she is now an author and a keynote speaker on the subject. Rebecca is a working mum with three lovely children and an amazing husband! In her coaching practice, she recognises that work is not the only facet of our lives. We have our past, our home lives and our business. For each of these areas, there are three personal stories and you can find the one that is relevant to you.

Heidi Fisher

Heidi Fisher received an MBE in the 2020 New Year Honours for Services to Innovation in Social Enterprise and to Impact Measurement. It follows 20 years of hard work, helping over 2,100 social enterprises, from start-ups to those with £1bn+ of income in the UK and internationally. Heidi has also been shortlisted and won several other awards.

Heidi is also a Chartered Accountant, having trained with PwC. She ran a specialist Social Enterprise accountancy firm for 8 years, before focusing on impact via Make an Impact CIC. Heidi specialises in working with health & social care and education, training & employment organisations; and with housing associations & trading co-ops.

Nigel Campbell

Nigel has over 25 years experience working in sales and marketing and has worked with and helped 1000’s of business owners in that time.

Along with running his own training business for sole business owners who want to get better at sales and marketing. Nigel has also founded Joined-Up-Media a business that can provide digital marketing services for sole business owners who would rather somebody else handle their online marketing. So no matter how great you are and no matter how good your service that you provide, you always find yourself scraping around for the next sale to make ends meet.

Dr Susanne Evans

Dr Susanne Evans is a pragmatic and practical consultant, coach, trainer and facilitator and has significant experience in advising SME’s and high growth firms and leaders.  She has worked in this field for over 20 years, previously with Big 4 consultancy firms (Andersen and Deloitte) before setting up Feldspar Consulting in 2007.

Her particular areas of expertise are employee engagement; culture change; HR management; organisation design and restructuring; management and leadership development; learning and development design, delivery and evaluation; talent management; HR functional effectiveness and efficiency; performance management and managing effective transformational change.

Susanne has a degree from Aston University, a postgraduate certificate in facilitation from the University of Surrey and a PhD in Organisational Change from the University of Birmingham.

Natasha Broomfield-Reid

Natasha is the founder and Director of Diverse Matters. She is responsible for the overall running of the company and for the design and delivery of a range of diversity and inclusion solutions for clients across the voluntary, public, third and private sectors.

Natasha has over 20 years’ experience of working within the diversity and inclusion field, and prior to setting up Diverse Matters and was the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for Victim Support.  Natasha led the organisation to become a Stonewall top 100 employer,  achieve the ‘Leaders in Diversity’ and ‘Investors in Diversity’ accreditation from the National Centre for Diversity and the charity was the first national charity to achieve ‘Leaders in Diversity’ status. 

Rachael Thomas

Currently Executive Director at Birmingham Repertory Theatre (“The REP”), Rachael is an experienced cultural leader with over 25 years’ experience at senior level across arts and heritage organisations. Prior to The REP, Rachael was Executive Director for Derby Theatre, Head of Finance at Nottingham Playhouse and Director of Phoenix Arts and Merlin Theatre. Rachael has also led a major heritage organisation, delivering the £20m capital project at Lincoln Castle – a multi award-winning restoration and relaunch of the medieval castle and Magna Carta as a premium visitor attraction.

Harriet Saunders

Harriet works as a Fund Executive at The FSE Group, working to deliver £42m of debt funding to SMES as part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. Harriet is responsible for maintaining the smooth day to day operations of the fund at FSE, deal execution and general fund administration.

Harriet holds a BSc (Hons) Business Administration degree from The University of Bath and a CISI Investment Advice Diploma. Harriet has previously worked within financial services providing operational and administrative assistance, with a recent focus on equity VCs geared to assisting SMES. Harriet is passionate about helping growing businesses scale up by unlocking funding and she is always keen to meet businesses within the patch.

In her spare time, Harriet enjoys cooking, visiting National Trust properties and is working towards her ACCA Qualification.

Lucille Roache

Lucille Roache is a Business Startup coach, author and a public speaker, who works with new female business owners and helps them to create a step-by-step plan of action to set their business up for success, without the confusion and overwhelm.  Lucille’s mission is to make starting at the bottom sexy again. Using a range of coaching tools Lucille helps her clients to build their confidence and set bad ass goals for their business.

Lucille has been coaching for over 9 years, helping teams and individuals to recognise and achieve their full potential.  Lucille is a qualified Corporate & Executive Coach an NLP practitioner, hypnotherapist and timeline coach. 

When Lucille isn’t coaching, she spends her time baking bread, drinking mojitos and day dreaming about Anthony Joshua.
