Our Story
The Black Pounds Project was founded by CJ Lloyd Webley, a playwright, entrepreneur, and advocate for social change. Witnessing the economic disparities faced by global majority communities, CJ was driven to create a solution that would offer tangible support to those seeking to build and grow their businesses. The project was born from a desire to bridge the gaps in access to funding, education, and professional networks, which are crucial to success.
Since its inception, the Black Pounds Project has grown into a dynamic movement that uplifts not only business owners but entire communities. What began as a local initiative has blossomed into a wide-reaching effort, helping hundreds of entrepreneurs gain the confidence, knowledge, and resources they need to turn their visions into reality.
